Access JAWS at Penn State

Keystrokes for Listing Elements

Below are several lists of useful keyboard commands for JAWS. For a complete lists of shortcuts for JAWS, see Freedom Scientific’s JAWS Keystrokes page.

These commands will list all elements of a specified type on a Web page.

Landmark roles add a new means to navigate page content for users of supporting assistive technology. Users can navigate page content using ARIA landmarks

Keystrokes for General Navigation

These commands allow the user to jump to elements of a certain type within a Web page.

Keystrokes for Headings

These commands allow the user to jump between headings on a Web page. For keystrokes containing "1–6" the command is valid with any number from 1 through 6, and will jump to headings of the corresponding level.
