The lawsuit brought by National Federation of the Blind in 2010 was a rude wake up call for purchasing agents, developers, and content authors to pay attention to web accessibility standards. And we responded effectively. But the complaint by the Office of Civil Rights in 2017 exposed a “new” problem with our compliance process. Websites launched after NFB, and demonstrated to be fully compliant, suddenly were not! What happened? and how are we adjusting our quality assurance processes?
