MISSION STATEMENT

The Accessible Technology and Information (ATI) Committee was established to coordinate efforts to improve the accessibility of Penn State’s web resources, digital course content and information systems, as well as to to integrate accessibility standards for Penn State’s procurement process. The ATI Committee is guided by Policy AD69 Accessibility of Penn State Web Pages.

The ATI Committee and its practice groups work to develop accessibility guidelines, research new tools and techniques, provide educational resources for Penn State staff and faculty, compile reports for university leadership and direct individuals with questions on accessibility to appropriate resources.

Committee membership is currently composed of members from Information Technology Services, Student Disability Resources, the University Libraries, World Campus and multiple colleges at Penn State.
