Screen readers are a type of software used by users with visual impairments. to navigate through a digital environment. Screen readers can read all the text within a digital document aloud, but also allow users to move from landmark to landmark within a page, access software menus and complete online forms. Landmarks can include section headings, accessible link text, table headers and other items indicating important divisions of information.
